Reading:  This week we are focusing about blends in phonics. While we are reading we will be working on visualizing what we are reading. For grammar we are going to be talking about the days, months, and holidays.

Science:  We are talking about our planet and the solar system.

Spelling: Our test is on Thursdays.

Math:  For this unit we are working on the following skills: order of numbers, ordinal numbers, use ten to estimate, greater than, less than, use symbols to compare numbers and reasonable answers.

Reading Buddies:  We have reading buddies with the fifth graders every Friday.
